KUPOL by IKEA.. way of organizing u'r stuff.. ;-)

siapa yang tak tahu IKEA kan..
shopping store which basically selling household item..from organizing to decorating just name it..

just wanna share with you on my recent find out from IKEA, KUPOL the pull-out storage.
it have been ages for me to think on how to organize all the items on the dressing tables. we have toner, make-up remover, lotion, sunblock, minyak urut..yadda..yadda..those yang pakai hari-hari ok jer lah nak letak atas dressing table..tapi those yang once a while pakai but still kene letak atas meja dan menjadi agent pengumpul habuk yang terbaik. -_-' memang serabuts lah..nak letak tempat lain, nanti nak carik balik..leceh pulak..sigh..

so here KUPOL had help mE to organize my dressing table. yeay..!!
it's a plastic drawer come in 4 different sizes/models and of course white in colour er..more to transparent white. kalau ikut ikea online catalogue, KUPOL nih dijual in a few set but actually in store it was sold secara loose. so terpulang lah nak beli berapa banyak and wat size/model as you wish.

as you can see from the above picture, ade 4 sizes/models which will be perfect for your need and you can stack it over the another KUPOL yang berlainan size. tapi..yup ade tapinyer..as suggested by IKEA, please do not exceed the height of 48cm (tapi kalau ikut manual 55cm). gambar kat atas nih kire maximum height. nampak jer kecik tapi for me memang dah mencukupi. do you want to know the dimension..??

and kat bawah nih how KUPOL had help mE to solve my messy dressing table.

above picture of how i use KUPOL model 1 and 3 and see how i've dump in all sort of make up remover, those sample facial, sun blocks.. on the bottom drawer hehehe..thinking to buy more of the model 1 to store my make-up and also cotton pads..for me this KUPOL design is just wat i want to store my stuff in a neat way (walaupun ku hanya lambak kan saje di dalam nyer). by the way abaikan container yang atas sekali. that is how i store my brooches and that container is from Daiso. That one also bagus bile nak pergi mana-mana mE just snap close the container and campak dalam beg baju so i'll have all my brooches where ever i go.

sebelum terlupa, KUPOL nih pun boleh di attached ke dinding tau. but on how practical it is to be attached to the wall i'm not sure. and further more you also can put wheeler at the bottom of KUPOL instead of the given rubber stand. rubber stand nih fungsi dier untuk elak kan KUPOL bergerak-gerak bile letak atas meja or any surface.

so what else shud i tell you..haa yup the price. since i only bought model 1, 2 and 3..so below is the price list;
model 1 = rm 25.90 (sold in pack of 2)

well..that it..i'm still over excited with this KUPOL. That a normal mE. suke nak excited over the simple thing hehehe. so if you find the KUPOL might be useful for you, pergi lah sendiri ke IKEA yer..

note: en.suami do prepare for next IKEA visit keyh. don't worry i'll list down what i need..but the problem is i don't know where they put the item in the store. so we might need to wander around..and around..what ever it gonna be please remain calm and smileee.. ^_^

unplanned trip..Aberdeen - London (part 3)

(mind you all..this is scheduled entry)

seboleh mungkin nak habiskan taip all about this unplanned trip..dah part 3 pun nih..

okie part 3 bermula on the next day lepas sampai..
this was planned ahead sebaik saje confirm flight..yer untuk jumpe my long lost best friend..
best friend mase zaman-zaman nakal sekolah menegah dulu..dekat high school kluang..  ^_^

the plan was..she'll come to my hotel..and we'll walk down to the town..
tapi agak malang nye cuaca dari pagi adalah hujan lebat.. T_T dah almost 12 noon baru lah reda..so boleh redah jer lah hujan nyer..

hujan adalah lebat..almost give up untuk keluar =(

actually nothing much that i can write since all we do was SHOPPINGGGG..!!!
so camera semua tolak tepi..huhuhu..
we went to Primark, Debenhams, LUSH..!!, H&M, Next, Clarks...list goes on and on.. -_-' only at our last pit stop baru amik gambar.. *faceplam*
sebenarnye cuaca x berapa baik on the day..hujan on and off almost the whole day..camera memang simpan jer. Booohuhuhu.. T_T tak besh betul. tanda kene datang lagi untuk bergambar dengan banyak nyer..!!

so since the day (Tuesday) jumpe Qaisha till a day (Khamis) before fly to London..memang hari-hari kiteorg pergi city center..pukul 11 pagi sure dah kuar jalan kaki dengan kak Mimi. kak Mimi nih wife en.eddie rakan sekerja en.suami.this is our first time bercuti bersama..jom layan gambar yang berjaya di snap along the way from hotel to city center..

kenapa tetibe aku rajin update blog..

korang notice tak tetibe mE so rajin update blog...
kate internet kat opis tak boleh akses blog..kate bizi...tapi nih boleh jer update blog kan...

sebenarnye...
i was on medical leave for two weeks..
yup sebaik balik dari the unplanned trip on 2nd October, on the 3rd October dah start keje balik..jet lag tok sah cerita memang disaster..tapi 1st day relax jer jer kerja as if nothing change...masuk 2nd night back in Malaysia..haaaaa..hamik jet lag datang lagi...balik kerja ngantuk giler-giler..tertido kejap by pukul 10malam dah terbangun dan mata kembali bersinar bagaikan mentari pagi.. -_-' on the 4th terpaksa emergency leave..and since on 5th i've scheduled for thyroid operation...perasaan adalah sangat cuak..

yup, you read it right..i already schedule for thyroid operation..

kenapa..?
sebenarnyer dah notice ade pembengkakkan di leher since 2007..mase tu lepas grad. so pergi check up dekat klinik kesihatan..amik blood test semua dan follow up dengan hospital putrajaya dengan ultra sound..nothing was reported.

masa tu kerja dengan kampeni xXx..since they provide a very good insurance coverage, decided to go for full medical check-up. masa tu buat dekat gleneagles, amaik executive screening plus ultrasound for thyroid. buat medical check up nih pun sebenarnye mainly nak focus untuk thyroid sekali jumpe pulak bende lain -_-'.

tapi untuk thyroid memang ade goither. tapi mE refuse for operation sebab dah imagine kene sembelih -_-'. so prefer untuk amik ubat. i just know that ubat yang doctor bagi mase tu actually hormon thyroid. tapi masa tu makan untuk sebulan..no significant changes detected. bengkak kat lehar tak berkurangan dan tak bertambah. so sendiri decided tak nak continue. then dah resign from xXx..dah dah tak amik kisah sangat pasal thyroid nih.

2011..demam..terasa sakit and bengkak kat leher.
serious mase nih cuak..sebab all this while tak pernah rase sakit bengkak. pergi klinik..doctor cakap dier bagi ubat surut bengkak tengok seminggu kalau tak hilang amik blood sample sebab it might be cancer. seriyesli doktor..!! 1st diagnose dah cakap macam tu. so makan jer lah ubat surut bengkak..so memang after a week bengkak hilang. tapi nak pergi buat blood test untuk detect cancer..? memang tak buat lah. seriyes tak ready for anything like it. cuak kot.

2012..yeay dah selamat kawen. eh cerite lain pulak. hehehe..
en.suami do aware of this abnormal enlargement on my neck. mase mula-mula kenal pun dier dah suruh buat blood test. but nothing wrong with my thyroid hormon level so memang buat tak tahu jer. sambung cerite balik. so around september..again sakit bengkak yang 2011 datang balik. so again pergi klinik..klinik yang berlainan lah of course. the doctor was so profesional..he said he can't prescribe any medication he wrote a referral later to KJP Selangor (we decided on this hospital since gleneagles too far from shah alam).

10th September scheduled appointment with one of ENT specialist kat KPJ Selangor, Dr. Soni. straight away buat ultrasound and consult Dr. Soni. from the ultrasound, Dr said there is an abnormal enlargement at my thyroid gland both left and right. some of the bengkak is starting to build up calcium which is not a good sign. mase nih memang dah kering kan hati..sebab it might lead to cancerous. T_T so doctor suggest for total removal of thyroid gland. sebab kalau tinggalkan sebahagian there is possibilities untuk bengkak balik and kene operate lagi..so buang semua terus dan makan hormon for the rest of my life. we decided for operation soon as back from holiday. sebab kalau nak buat mase tu afraid tak sempat recover by the time holiday. (good decision sebab after 2 weeks pun my voice still haven't recover)

let's learn something about thyroid ^_^

thyroid gland manufactures two essential hormones – thyroxine (also referred to as T4) and triiodothyronine (also referred to as T3). kadar rembesan hormon di tentukan oleh kelenjar pituitary yang mendapat arahan dari hypothalamus. (semua nih functioning kat otak kite lah senang cite)

how the cycle goes.

kalau terlebih hormon called Hyperthyroidism, and the symptom are as below;

• weight loss, despite a normal or increased appetite
• nervousness, agitation and anxiety
• tiredness
• physical weakness (muscular)
• rapid pulse
• tremor (shaking) of the hands
• sweating and sensitivity to heat
• diarrhoea

kalau kurang hormon pulak called Hypothyroidism, and symptoms are as below;

• lethargy and tiredness
• feeling cold (even on warm days)
• difficulty concentrating
• unusual weight gain
• depression
• puffiness of the face
• hair loss
• dry skin
• constipation

as in my case..my hormon level was just on the right amount required by the body. normally the enlargement of thyroid gland is cause by hypothyroidism sebab hormon kurang so the gland was forced to produce more, hence the gland akan bengkak la..sebah kerja lebih. well, since my hormone level is normal..we need to inspect on why there is enlargement. 

on 5th October 2012..i had undergo the operation to remove the thyroid gland. was on GA for about 4 frikking hour..seriously tak suke operation...tak suke the feeling of waking up after the operation. dah la operate kat leher..mase sedar tu ok lagi..tapi biler start rase banyak kahak dalam tekak dan nak buang punyer lah seksa..rase nak nangis jer..  T_T 

was warded for 3 days. and only consume bubur, roti and biskut cecah milo for a week. suara memang hilang till today tak recover lagi. yup they are the side effects after the operation. sebab the gland is wrapping your trachea and vocal cord. during the operation memang tak boleh elak untuk this two to get injured. -_-'
doktor kate..paling cepat 3 minggu baru leh dapat suara ku balik..uwaaaa... T_T insyaAllah.

well that it..
the reason why i was so free to update the blog. in total dah sebulan mE cuti wooo..next Monday start kerja seperti biasa. 

nak tengok parut operation x..? letak kecik jer kalau berani besar kan sendiri eh..since diri sendiri tak nampak pun parut nih..so memang tak kisah jer..lalala tapi bile tengok cermin T_T sobs..sobs..giler otai parut kat leher terus..

unplanned trip..Aberdeen - London (part 2)

wahhh..pantas dah part 2  ^_^

luckily hotel yang disediakan kampeni en.suami ade free wifi untuk guest..
tak boleh nak imagine if kene duduk dalam hotel..dengan tak ada internet dan tak ada suami..sungguh tidak boleh bersenggama kan..eh.. =P

hari pertama sampai..memang tergolek tido jer sambil browse ape yang ade kat Aberdeen nih.
quite interesting place jugak lah Aberdeen nih through pamphlet and internet ..banyak jer tempat leh pergi kalau cuaca baik..memandangkan time kite orang datang nih dah start falls maka...hujan dan sejuk sepanjang hari dan aktiviti riadah adalah tidak digalak kan sama sekali..nak 'camwhore' pun leceh sebab hujan..

so nothing much till en.suami pulang..let just give a review bout the hotel itself..

kat Aberdeen nih x der bangunan-bangunan pencakar langit. so hotel pun macam beberapa rumah yang di convert menjadi hotel. simple and cozy jer and it's a four star hotel in terms of services. harga kalau tak silap 140£ per night.

kalo dari gambar 'our room' tu, di ambil dari pintu masuk..that how big it is..sebelah kanan dah bathroom.
cakap pasal bathroom, memang best. shower to bathtub to the bath set by molton brown memang best. room also occupied with ironing board , hair dryer, electric kettle and all that so memang menyenangkan since en.suami kan perlu berkerja boleh iron baju and bekalan air panas for hot milo itu penting untuk meneruskan kehidupan. there's one thing that i really like in this hotel. they provide heater bar (name aku bagi sendiri name sebenar heated towel warmer). heater bar nih sebenarnyer tempat untuk letak towel. so that towel akan remain kering..tapi hari-hari pun kiteorg tukar towel baru so heater bar nih jadi tempat sidai baju..hehehe..good idea to have it in bathroom. (berangan kalau ade rumah macam nak carik and pasang..ko lupe ker Aino, malaysia menerima cahaya matahai sepanjang tahun..) =p 

so that it, on the hotel review...
we stayed here from Monday till Friday..
highly recommended if anyone happen to stay in Aberdeen and...if you don't mind to walk around 30 minutes to the city centre hehehe..yup that the drawback..it's quite far from the city..hurmm tapi we still manage to walk from hotel to the city everyday kot..so ok jer lah..*balik naik taxi lah tapinyer* =D hehehe..
